This Privacy Policy explains how FavoritePokemon.app handles information when you declare favorite Pokémon, browse fan declarations, use the Collective Pokédex, or play the Who’s More Loved? game.
Last updated: May 25, 2026When you submit a favorite Pokémon declaration, the site asks for a trainer name, one to six selected Pokémon, and an optional fan reason. These declarations are saved so the site can show community rankings, Pokémon declaration pages, cards, and the Collective Pokédex.
Declarations are intended to be public. Please do not submit your real full name, home address, phone number, email address, or other sensitive personal information in your trainer name or reason.
FavoritePokemon.app uses browser local storage to remember language preference, draft declarations, saved declaration results on your device, reports you have already sent, and local game scores.
This information stays in your browser unless you submit a declaration or report. You can clear it through your browser settings.
Submitted declarations, reports, public fan counts, and supporter display data are stored through Supabase services used by this project.
The site also loads Pokémon data or artwork from public Pokémon data sources such as PokeAPI and public sprite/artwork repositories. Those services may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser details, and requested URLs.
We use submitted information to publish fan declarations, generate downloadable cards, calculate rankings, reveal the Collective Pokédex, display recent declarations, moderate reported content, and keep the site working.
We do not sell your submitted declarations or use them for targeted advertising.
FavoritePokemon.app is a general-audience fan project and is not directed to children under 13. The FTC explains that COPPA can require verifiable parental consent for covered services that collect personal information from children under 13.
